Aleks Larsen is a general partner at Blockchain Capital. With a multidisciplinary background, Aleks brings a unique combination of experience in systems engineering, fundamental analysis and capital markets to the firm. Prior to joining Blockchain Capital, Aleks worked as an investment banking analyst at Guggenheim Partners, focusing on mergers & acquisitions and equity financings within the biotechnology sector. Aleks graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Systems Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis.

Prior to Blockchain Capital, Yuan was the Co-President of Penn Blockchain—one of the world’s largest student-run blockchain organizations. While there, Yuan led all of Penn Blockchain’s governance activities in addition to overseeing recruiting and business development. Yuan studied Computer Science and Philosophy at the University of Pennsylvania, where he chose to withdraw in his final year to commit his time fully to crypto. In his spare time, Yuan enjoys cooking, skiing, playing strategy games, and listening to classical music.
