Micree Zhan is a Chinese electronics engineer and entrepreneur who co-founded Bitmain. Born in 1979, Zhan holds a bachelor's degree in electronics from Shandong University and a master's degree in engineering from the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Micree Zhan played a crucial role in the growth and success of Bitmain, leading the company's research and development efforts. However, in 2019, he was ousted from the company by his co-founder Jihan Wu, leading to a power struggle and legal battle for control of Bitmain. In 2020, it was reported that Zhan regained control of the company after a settlement was reached.
