Shi Jianping

Shi Jianping is an investment partner at Lanchi Venture Capital. In 2019, he joined Lanchi Venture Capital and is based in Beijing. Focus on enterprise services and early investment in hard technology fields. Shi Jianping once worked for Oracle in the United States and served as a global R&D executive. He led a multinational R&D team to develop products in the fields of middleware, mobile databases, and converged communications, and was responsible for the global market expansion and customer operation management of related products; with more than 10 years of experience Management experience in IT industry and multinational enterprises. Shi Jianping also founded Duomi Music, which has developed into a leading company in the field of independent mobile music services with more than 7 million DAU. Shi Jianping graduated from the University of Texas at Austin.

Liu Ji

Liu Ji is an operating partner of Lanchi Venture Capital and graduated from Peking University Guanghua School of Management. He is fully responsible for the structural design, fundraising, operation management and investor relations of Lanchi Venture Capital’s US dollar and RMB funds, and is deeply involved in fund investment and post-investment management. Before joining Lanchi, he worked at Jiuding Investment and has many years of experience in the establishment, fundraising and operation management of US dollar and RMB private equity funds.

Patrick Liu

Patrick Liu is the Venture Partner at Lanchi Ventures. Patrick Liu is a serial entrepreneur in social networks, gaming and AR. He started out at Motorola Labs in 1999, where he worked on data communications in 3G. In 2003, he co-founded eFriendsNet Entertainment, one of the first social networks in China. As President, Patrick oversaw strategy, products and financing. After eFriendsNet was acquired in 2006, he founded Rekoo Media, which pioneered social games in China, Japan and Korea. Rekoo became the top social gaming company in Asia in 2009-2012 with more than 35 million daily active users. In 2012, Rekoo pioneered smartphone games in China and expanded to Europe and North America, growing to be a top 3 mobile game publisher in China in 2013-2015. Rekoo was acquired in 2017. After that, Patrick co-Founded AR company PhotonLens which was acquired in the middle of 2021. Patrick received his BA from Peking University, a Masters in Computer Science from UIUC, and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.
